Blomgren TravelGroup was launched in September 2008. Founder Hans Blomgren has had a long and distinguished career in the travel industry, having previously held stakes in HB Travel, ARK Travel and JB Travel. In recent years, major international players in the travel market have bought up many of Sweden’s small and medium-sized travel agencies and integrated them into their own organisations. This has created a void for clients who want close and personal contact with their travel agent.

Hans received numerous requests from clients and from staff for him to set up a new travel agency offering high quality, personal service. He contacted a handful of carefully selected industry colleagues with extensive experience from various other long-established agencies. And so Blomgren TravelGroup took shape.
